Christmas Present

Here is a lovely Christmas present I received for our cousin Lisa.  Pictures!

This is Don Costello and his father Paul.

Paul is my husband’s great uncle.

I’ve written earlier about the Costello family farm and  Annie Costello’s struggles to hold on to it.  In that piece I stated that N’s grandfather John T ran the farm while his mother worked in town to scrape together a living.  I should have said that both of Annie’s sons, Paul and John T,  handled the farm operations.

I’ll be writing more about these brothers for interested Costellos and others.

For now here is John T on the left and Paul on the right.  Even in these blurry photos I think the resemblance is strong.
