I can\u2019t believe that it is already December!\u00a0 This year is going so fast!\u00a0 November passed nicely, with a lovely Thanksgiving family get-together just last week, and a few genealogy tasks accomplished.<\/p>\n
For this month I have just a couple of goals.\u00a0 First, and foremost, I am trying to think of various family-history-related presents I can do for my family presents.\u00a0 I did manage to get a new (little) family chart done and off to be printed for our newest and youngest\u00a0 member.\u00a0 We do stocking presents for everyone else, so I\u2019m trying to think of smallish items.\u00a0 I have an idea for a bookmark (the old-fashioned physical kind) but haven\u2019t figured out how to do it yet.\u00a0 Any and all ideas out there will be welcomed.<\/p>\n
The other main goal I have is the ongoing one: continuing to organize my digital files by naming them consistently and then, later, making sure they are suitably connected with the person or people in my family tree database that they provide information about.\u00a0 It seems like it ought to be a simple and not-too-time-consuming task and yet, I\u2019m still plodding away at it.\u00a0 Too many files (and too many duplicates!) and not enough time or patience.<\/p>\n
