What Caused My Ancestors’ Death? – 52 Ancestors # 43

I decided to use this topic to make a visual way to track my direct ancestors deaths, to see what information I have about each of them.   This spreadsheet shows through my g-g-grandparents who I have death information of any sort about and which ones I have some sort of cause of death along with date and place of death.    I haven’t yet tried to expand this to the next generation, thinking that my 3g-grandparents are likely to have died early enough that there would be no requirement for registering deaths.  I need to pursue this idea, though, since I could be wrong.

I can see from this spreadsheet that there are 4 people, two couples, for whom I have no death information.  For two of them I don’t even have names (Elizabeth Mary Hockman’s parents, as I have written about before).  For five other individuals, I have death dates and ages at death, but no record that shows any cause of death.  Since some of these happened in 1905 I should be able to find something, but so far no luck.
